THE CHRONICLES OF THE KINGS OF THE LAND OF ‘NIGER-AREA’

THE CHRONICLES OF THE KINGS OF THE LAND OF ‘NIGER-AREA’

SEASON ONE

  1. In the year 1959 in the land of Niger- area even in the kingdom called Africa, there arose a great Indignation towards the people of Britain which cameth  from the land of England to conquer and enslave the land of Niger-area and the people besought the foreigners that they would hand over to them the kingdom even the throne.
  2. And it came to pass that the Chief princes of the people called Nnamdi  son of Azikiwe from the east, Obafemi son of Awolowo from the west and Ahmadu son of Bello from the north, all three did agree betwix themselves to ask the Britons who did colonize the land thereon to hand  over the kingdom unto the princes of the land yea even unto the chief prince Nnamdi son of Azikiwe  that he may bear rule over  the land.
  3. And so be it that the people of England of and  their Queen Elizabeth the 2nd  did harken unto the demands of the chief princes of the people to relinquish the kingdom unto the chief princes of the land.
  4. And so there was an enquiry conducted by the powers that be even the king then called sir Lord Lugard, which to discern unto who the people do favor to bear rule unto the land and the king of the land in the person of sir lord Lugard, did conduct an enquiry of which many princes of the land did participate to contend for the kingdom, to determine unto who the kingdom may be turned to in order for him to bear  rule on the land.
  5. So be it that the enquiry did determine that the chief prince of the land Nnamdi son of Azikiwe was chosen by the people to be their king called a president, and Ahmadu son of Bello was chosen by the people as the hand of the king, called a prime minister.
  6. And in the year 1960 the British did heed to their promise to hand over the kingdom to the chief prince of the people and go back to their land unto England even in Europe.
  7. So the people chose for themselves a king whom they called a president and a prime minister whom did execute the will of the president.
  8. So the king and his prime minister did bear rule unto the land even the whole land of Niger- area until the year 1966.
  9. And there arose among the soldiers who did guard the king and did execute his wars to turn against him and did contend for the kingdom to bear rule unto the land by the force of the sword.
  10. And they slew the hand of the king, Ahmadu the son of Bello with the sword and did sought the king to slew him but he hid himself and they slew him not, they also slew some princes of the land and did almost take the kingdom, but a certain man of war called Aguiyi the son of Ironsi, countered them that did contend for the kingdom  in order to bear rule unto the kingdom and he did take the kingdom and established his rule unto all the land yea even unto the hintermost part of the land.
  11. And  some certain group of soldiers from the north were wrought at the outcome of event and being distraught by the death of Ahmadu son of bello who happened to be their brethren, did contend for  the kingdom from the king Aguiyi son of Ironsi and they slew him with the sword and did make Yakubu the son of Gowon the king in his stead.
  12. But this thing displeased the soldiers from the east yea even the principality in the east called  Emeka son of Ojukwu, who did demand for the break up of the kingdom in order for each region to bear rule unto their land of themselves.
  13. And they did agree in the land of ashanti  yea even in the kingdom of Ghana that the land be divided and every tribe should bear rule unto their own land of themselves.
  14. But the king came back home and using subtility did not harken unto the agreement he had with Emeka son of Ojukwu to divide the land, and it so happened that the people of the east who did live and eat in the land of the north were all slain with the sword and their dwellings and properties destroyed as with fire.
  15. This thing greatly displeased the people of the east, yea even the prince Emeka son of Ojukwu.  So he did divide the land of himself and rebelled against the king of Niger- area, and declared the new kingdom the republic of ‘come and see’ which is translated  in the ibo language “bia- fra”
  16. And war broke out in Niger-area, and the king of Niger- area did slaughter more than one million easterners in the war which forced the chief prince to flee the land of “come and see”. And the land was subdued and the people did repent from their rebellion and did pledge their allegiance unto the king of Niger-area once again unto this day.
  17. But there arose a contention for the kingdom from among the men of war and Muritala the son of Mohammed  did take the throne from Yakubu the son of Gowon. And did bear rule for six months and some soldiers which did guard him conspired and slew him with the sword, but the soldiers who did that evil were found and put to death and the men of war did force a valiant man of war Olusegun the son of Obasanjo to bear rule unto the kingdom and to be their king.
  18. And it came to pass that when Olusegun the son of Obasanjo did bear rule in the kingdom that he harkened unto the voice of the princes of the people and the established kingdoms to turn the kingdom over to the princes of the land and return the soldiers back to their duty of guarding the kingdom and executing its wars.
  19. And  in the year 1979 he did conduct an enquiry for to know who the people desired to be their king.
  20. And out of all the princes, the people choose Shehu the son of Shagari from the north as their new king and Olusegun the son of Obasanjo did harken unto the voice of the people even unto the people in foreign kingdoms of Europa and Americas to hand over the kingdom unto the prince of the people which he did and also did return the soldiers to their duty.
  21. But no sooner than the king began to be established in the kingdom, there arose a contention for the kingdom, and Mohammed the son of Buhari took the kingdom.
  22. But there was a great famine in all the land of Niger- area like there had never been before  and the people cried out, and a man of war who did guard the king, Ibrahim the son of Babangida did conspired against the king and took the kingdom and committed  the king  into prison for a time.
  23. But there arose a great out cry from the princes of the people and even from the established kingdoms in Europa and the Americas that the soldiers that did bear rule continually in the land of Niger-area even in the whole kingdom of Africa should return the kingdom unto the princes of the land and return the soldiers back to their original duty of guarding the kingdom and executing the wars of the king that there may be peace and development in the land, for the people were weary with the constant contention for the kingdom by the men of war of the land. For some men of war did contend for the kingdom but they did not prevail over him for he subdued them and slew them with the sword and there was peace in the land for a time.
  24. And it came to pass that the king; Ibrahim the son of Babangida did harken unto to the voice of the princes of the land and the other kingdoms of the world, to enquire whom the people desire to be their king, that he might return the throne unto the princes and return the soldiers back to their original duty.
  25. Therefore he did enquire of the people, and it came to pass that the people desired Moshood the son of Abiola, who is a great prince come from the west and is very rich in gold, to be their king.
  26. And it came to pass that, Ibrahim the son of Babangida when he did know that the people desired Moshood the son of Abiola, to be king over them that he did not harken unto their voice, but rather he crowned Ernest the son of Shonekan a prince from the west, as king in his stead, and he did flee back to his own land, even in the north.
  27. It happened that, king Ernest did rule the kingdom for three months, but was removed by his men of war, who did guard the kingdom, and they made the chief man of war Sani son of Abacha,  king in his stead.
  28. And Abacha did evil in the sight of the LORD, in that he did slew certain princes of the land and he took the prince whom the  people did desire to be king over them and put him in prison and caused that his wife be slain because she asked that the kingdom be restored unto him. He also did commit the old king, Olusegun son of Obasanjo to prison because he demand the return of the kingdom to the prince of the people  besides, he was going to transform himself from a man of war and into a prince that he may bear rule over the kingdom forever, and had certain men who did support him and urged him on who formed five groups that endorsed him for to bear rule over the whole kingdom.
  29. And the LORD slew him as he slept in the night and the men of war did make Abdulsalami, son of Abubakar the king of the land.
  30. King Abdulsalami, son of Abubakar reigned over the kingdom for six months and he did was was right in the sight of God and the people in that he enquired whom the people want to bear rule over them, for the prince whom, is Moshood, son of Abiola whom they had chosen of time past had died in prison.
  31. And the people desired Olusegun,  son of Obasanjo, the  old king who returned the kingdom back unto the prince, even unto Shehu, the son of Shagari, and whom the late king Sani, son of Abacha did commit to prison to be king over them.
  32. And king Abdulsalami, son of Abubakar did harken to the voice of the people and did lift up the head of the old king Olusegun, the son of Obasanjo out of prison and made him king over the kingdom in his stead.
  33. And Olusegun, son of Obasanjo was made king the second time in the year 1999 and he established his kingdom and did reign for eight years and there was peace in the land.
  34. And the king did what was right in the sight of God and man, and it came to pass that after eight years of his reign when he ought to depart from the throne that he did enquire who the people want to bear rule over them and the people desired Musa, son of Yar’adua a prince from the north to be king over them and he did make Musa king in his stead and Goodluck, son of Jonathan as the hand of the king.
  35. And it came to pass that in the second year of the reign of king Musa, that he King Musa, son of Yar’adua fell ill and did not recover for the Lord took him to be with him because he was a righteous man.  For he did admit that he was not the perfect choice of the people to rule over them however he promised to make the enquiry process better in his time and he did what was right in the sight of the lord and man.
  36. And it came to pass that the old king, Abdulsalami, son of Abubakar had decreed according to the decree of the land of Niger-area which cannot be changed that whereupon the land should be without a king as a result of the death of the king, the hand of the king should be the next king that the throne should not be vacant and that the land may suffer no loss and to prevent a contention for the throne by men of war and scrupulent elements.
  37. And it happened that Goodluck, son of Jonathan a great prince from the east and an old principality who was the hand of the king then, was lifted up by the princes in the house which did make laws for the land of Niger-area.
  38. And they proclaimed Goodluck, son of Jonathan king over all the kingdom.
  39. And he did reign in the land for six years. And it came to pass that after two years into the reign of Goodluck, son of Jonathan an enquiry was made to determine who would bear rule over the land and Goodluck, the son of Jonathan swayed the hearts of the people with a touching story of his life and how that he grew up having no shoes, this story swayed the hearts of the people so much that they allowed him to bear rule over the land for four years, but Muhammadu, the son of Buhari was wrought with the outcome of the enquiry so much that his supporters did caused a riot and slew many people living in their land, even in the north and also children of the people that served the kingdom voluntarily after their high education. And he did what was right in the sight of God but his style of rule did displeased some people.
  40. And it came to pass that it came to the time when he would relinquish the throne to another king, because according to the laws of the kingdom of Niger-area which cannot be changed that a king may bear rule over the kingdom for four years and after four years an enquiry should be made to determine if the people want him to continue for another four years or not.
  41. And it came to pass that the people were not pleased with the rule of King, Goodluck, the son of Jonathan that they rejected him as king and did desire an old King even Muhamadu,  son of Buhari who did bear rule in 1983-1985 to be king over them in the stead of Goodluck, son of  Jonathan because they were displeased with his rule in that he did promoted corruption  in the land and made a few of his friends and family rich in gold and substance and neglected the people.
  42. And it came to pass that that the people did desire a change in kingship and their desire was granted unto them in that the throne was given unto the old king even unto Muhammadu the son of Buhari  who became the king of Niger-area for the second time in 2015.
  43.  And he did evil in the sight of God and man in that he did allow his tribesmen who are shepherds to slaughter people who are not of their own tribe and he refused to allow the gold and silver in the land to flow freely by reason of an excuse to  clean up the land of corruption, and did commit many princes who did rule the people as principalities and powers in regional estates and did stole the gold and substances of the land into prison. However there arose a great famine in the land and the people cried out for want of food and substance to live and not perish but there was none and many died and some were rendered useless and hopeless due to the famine.
  44. And it came to pass that after four year in which the king was to enquire from the people whom they desire to be king over them or if they desired him to ‘kwantinu’ to bear rule over them for another four years.
  45. And among the princes who desired to be king is Atiku, son of Abubakar and with Peter, son of Obi as his hand, and some other notable princes of the land whom did contend for the throne with the king……………………………………………………..To be continued…
