BIAFRA: Finally Nnamdi Kanu freed from Kuje Prison goes home after two years in detention

The Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu have been freed to go home on bail.



Nnamdi Kanu who was arrested by the department of state security service (DSS) have been in detention since 2015.

He was granted bail by Justice Binta Nyako of the Federal high Court sitting in Abuja on Tuesday April 26, 2017.

Justice Binta slammed Kanu with bail conditions which Nnamdi Kanu was ask to provide a serving senator, a Jewish religious leader and a well respected person having a property in Abuja each to pay the sum of one hundred million naira each.

Senator Ike Ekweremadu who assisted in perfecting Nnamdi Kanu's bail conditions and Senator Abaribe stood as one of the surety to Nnamdi Kanu and was freed to go home on bail on Friday 28, April 2017.

After perfecting all bail conditions former minister, Osita Chidoka was seen driving Nnamdi Kanu home.
